Rounders part 1

Themed Market v. 2?t957 Credits to vBulletin v 6, Copyright 2000-2011, vBulletin Solutions, Inc. Don t you love card kits? They take the pain out of choosing paper and matching embellishments. I just love June s card kit. the bright colors really add some spice to my cards. Here s my sample for this week: I used an Abigail C stamp called Spring Swing. She s so cute! I colored her up with my copics and added some liquid pearls to her earrings. I used some sparkly stickles to the scalloped nestabilitie border for bling. The button and brads in the corners are also from the kit. I m having tons of fun with this card kit. Are you? I d love to see what you are making with this kit. If you ve added a card to your blog using this kit, why not leave a comment so I can pop over and have a look? I d love to see your work. Enjoy your I hope it s a beautiful sunny one where ever you are. Happy Father s Day! I switched up my Anything But A Card creation in order to use it as a Father s Day present, multitasking at it s best. I found this rounders part 1 for a Chocolate bar gift holder and just had to try it on for size! No measurements were provided so I took out my scrap paper and started cutting, folding and scoring. It took me 2 tries, but I finally got it right. I used the fabulous Peppy Tinheart as my image, and Cassie Tinheart s Sentiment stamp for the banner. This Tinheart Family Collection is just one spiffy stamp set. It can be used for any celebration, boy or girl. I added some dimension to the tag by popping up Peppy s head, and I chose chocolate brown as my main color due to the gift itself, and coordinated the flower and heart with the design paper in the background. You will see some subtle cog punches behind Peppy, but I wanted my main focus to be on the robots themselves. They represent my two daughters, and Daddy is definetly the bolt that holds us together. See you all next week, and I do hope I have inspired some of you to try out this fun project. it s been hot here and I ve been spending lots of time with my boys in my neighbours pool. So, for todays ABAC posting I decided to go with a Pool Party theme and make some really fun, quick and easy projects. I pulled out this fabulous fishy paper by Cosmo Cricket Snorkel Collection appropriately named School s Out !!! I made the favour box first following a tutorial I found here on SCS. I filled it with chocolate covered acai blueberries yumm! Next came the drinks umbrella which is a 4 circle of patterned paper decorated up with whatever embellishments you want. I used some pom-pom ribbon and a button, as well as a skewer stick. The chip boat was super easy and I used matching paper for the sail masts and skewer sticks. I hope you enjoyed my fun project today and it rounders part 1 make the sun shine wherever you are!
